Moisture lingering over the northwest Caribbean will continue to support the chance of scattered showers and some thunderstorm activity for the next few days. The ridge of high-pressure currently bringing fresh winds and rough seas, is expected to slightly weaken by tomorrow supporting a slight improvement in winds and seas. A Small Craft Alert is in effect. The alert is expected to be downgraded to an advisory by Thursday evening.
Tonight: Cloudy skies with scattered showers and some thunder. Temperatures will fall near the mid to upper 70’s °F. Winds will be east to southeast at 15 to 20 knots. Seas will be rough with wave heights of 6 to 8 feet. A Small Craft Alert is in effect.*
Tomorrow: Cloudy skies with a 30% chance of showers and possible thunder. Temperatures will rise to the upper 80's °F, with a heat index near 103 °F. Winds will be east to southeast at 15 to 20 knots, becoming 10 to 15 knots into the evening. Seas will be rough with wave heights of 5 to 7 feet, becoming moderate to rough into the evening with wave heights of 4 to 6 feet. A Small Craft Advisory will be in effect by the evening.*
