Drier and more stable conditions will persist through the early part of tonight as a ridge of high-pressure remains dominant across the northeast Caribbean. Throughout the later part of the night, a gradual increase in cloud cover and shower chance is likely as a tropical wave located southeast of Jamaica is expected to begin drifting across the western Caribbean through Tuesday bringing a resurgence in moisture. Satellite imagery shows very little amounts of cloud located across the northwest Caribbean.
Tonight: Partly cloudy skies with a 30% chance of early-morning showers. Temperatures will fall to the low 80’s °F. Winds will be easterly at 5 to 10 knots. Seas will be slight to moderate with wave heights of 2 to 4 feet.
Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies with cloudy spells and a 40% chance of morning showers with possible thunder. Temperatures will rise to the low 90’s °F, with a heat index near 104 °F. Winds will be southeast at 10 to 15 knots with higher gusts in the afternoon. Seas will be slight to moderate with wave heights of 2 to 4 feet.
