Today's Forecast

Synopsis

A few isolated showers are forecast this morning across the Cayman area, as low-level instability continues to linger. Both mid to upper levels are dry, and showers are forecast to be brief. Furthermore, a light southerly windflow this afternoon, coupled with daytime heating can increase the chance of some localised activity. By tonight, winds would have become light and variable as the pressure gradient weakens due to the passage of a frontal boundary north of Cuba.
